The children enjoyed more science activities this week ...
We looked at solids and liquids and then we experimented to see what would dissolve in water.
cooking oil?     salt?   sand?    golden syrup?    raro?
Then the containers tipped over ..... and Robyn found golden syrup and water is very sticky to wipe up.
The children were very interested to see what happened to the cooking oil.

At Discovery Time the children used felt pens on blotting paper and then they used a pipette  to drip on some water. The results look very pretty on our wall.

Kadin and Artemis were very careful with the pipette.

Flinn brought his 'Brain Box' to share at Discovery Time.

The children enjoyed the fun activities. Thanks for bringing it AND sharing, Flinn.

A team creation in progress.

The children are painting their self portraits.
They are a work in progress, but already we can recognise some of the subjects.
When they are finished families will be invited to call in to see them.

'I Spy..."

Great team work!
