Lots of children have been sharing some of their Home Learning Journey activities.
Eileen wrote some very sensible  'Room 8 Rules'.
Ruby-June made an awesome robot from recycled materials.

I have also had plenty of colourful emails from children as well.

Today the Year 3 children were lucky to have some futsil coaching with Sam from Sport Canterbury.
Today's session focussed on ball skills.
The children will have two more sessions before the end of the term.

Timara shared some of her home learning with us today.
She brought her Mum and Grandma to share the learning.

Ka pai Timara.

It was Monique's last day today. Her tutors decided she had completed her course sufficiently to pass so now she is applying for teaching positions.
Thank you Monique - we enjoyed having you in our class.

This week's Southern View (free community newspaper) has a photo of the Garden Display and Room 8 children walking back from the Woolston Club. Some families have these delivered to mail boxes or they can be found at supermarkets and libraries.

Discovery time ...
The shopkeeper  is waiting for customers.

The play dough is always popular.

Matt, the student teacher from Room 7, helped some budding gardeners plant some of the plants from the Garden Show.
If you are at school in the weekends please water them.

They will look good when they are established.

Phoebe has just started Brownies. She already has some badges!
