The radishes and cress are trying to grow faster than each other! I have to turn the tray every day as the plants are leaning to the light.

Discovery time fun and learning

Today we planted the seeds the Home & School gave us after the Oderings Garden Show. Hopefully they will sprout during the holidays and we will have a lovely display of wildflowers.
We were also fortunate to have a 'School Kit' from New World's  Little Garden promotion.
The children planted their vegetables in anticipation of  some tasty snacks later in term 4.
I have brought the seeds home and will update progress on our class blog.

Phew! We've had a busy few days.
Yesterday I went with the Junior Kapahaka to the  Art Gallery for  'Kids in Town'. It was an awesome.

On Friday afternoon we were very pleased to see Artemis's Mum, Marsi.
She brought us some delicious moussaka to try.

At Discovery time on Thursday some of the children worked on their calendar art. It is looking good!
Jade tried out a 'Skip It' - it looks easy but a definite rhythm is required.
