We had a very small and special visitor today.
Neirin brought his brand new brother, Osian, to show us. He was very cute!

Our Garden Show preparations are going well!
We hope families will be able to pop into the Woolston Club next weekend to see all our work. We would encourage families to vote.

Another busy week....

Our plants for the Garden Show are growing.
We are hoping the marigolds bloom.... Room 7's are blooming already.

All the children have been given a new drink bottle. They are to stay at school and remain in class.
The children need to fill these in the mornings before school. 

Congratulations Kadin for being part of the school mini ball team. They had their first game last night. Kadin got two baskets and the team won 26 - 20! Go Kadin!

Good luck to the Year 3 girls on Wednesday as they are going to a Football Tournament.

Congratulations to Caezar as he has the most points on Studyladder. James is not far behind. :)

Neirin and Lily started violin lessons today. :)

Eve had a great weekend. She went to see 'Robin Hood'.

We've had our first full week at school and everyone seems to be settling in well.

We are busy working on our Garden Show entry - Lily and Zoe's seeds had sprouted on Friday! I'm sure there will be others after the weekend.

We had a 'go' with our recorders on Friday afternoon.
The Year 3 children were very supportive with the Year 2's!

We had a busy first week and it was only four days!

The Powhiri on Friday was special as Artemis and Ella supported Vianne and Cesar and Kiana supported Neirin as they were welcomed to school.
There were a lot of new children and families to welcome and I was proud of the respectful messages from our class

Today we had a special four legged visitor....

Lily brought her black and white rabbit called Lightening to show us today.

Lightening is a boy.

He is 3 months old.

He eats vegetables. He has to eat hay to keep his stomach healthy.

He has to nibble to keep his teeth short.

Carrots are like lollies for him.

He liked nibbling our shoes!

He is a friendly and cute rabbit.
